It is always an incredible adventure to give or receive Dianetics auditing.

I remember,  before I got into Scientology, wishing I could recall my past lives.  I would read books about people who could do so, and regarded them with awe.

But when I started to receive Dianetics auditing my own past became really clear to me.

I've also audited a lot of other people on Dianetics.

It is always an adventure, always surprising, what causes the problems we live with is never what you think they were, and when you get down to what really happened, no matter how bleak it may have seemed at first, it's always a relief, and usually quite funny!

On October 7th, look for this year's annual Dianetics Book-a-Thon.

Scientology churches and missions and Dianetics counseling groups all over the world will be out in force, helping people locate the major points of stress in their lives, and how Dianetics can help them overcome this.

Last year there were 49,000 Dianetics books sold, the weekend of the Book-a-Thon.

This year promises to be even more!

One of the hardest things to live with is the feeling of loss. 

I remember my first broken heart.  It took me years to get over it.  And frankly, if it weren't for Dianetics, I don't know if I ever would have fully recovered from it. 

But I can hardly conceive what the people of Java have had to come to grips with over the past two months.  First a devastating earthquake that left 1.5 million homeless, then a tsunami that killed hundreds.

There is a team of Scientology Volunteer Ministers in Java who have been helping the emergency relief agencies there since the earthquake happened in May. 

One thing they are doing is seminars in Dianetics techniques so people can help their families and neighbors overcome the loss they've experienced.

It's hard enough to pick up the pieces of your life after being hit with such a catastrophe.  But to try to do so when you are suffering from the loss of people you loved....

Scienotology has so much application to circumstances like this.

I recently read Dianetics: the Evolution of a Science.  I'd read it before but, as with most of L. Ron Hubbard books, I find each time I read it I learn so much more.

What is really fascinating about this book, in my opinion, is the way Mr. Hubbard came to discover what he did about the mind.  He describes the path of discovery in this book -  the path of investigation he followed, what he looked into, what he discarded and why.

Not only does it give you a lot of insight into Scientology and Dianetics, but it is also a great lesson in how to do effective research and think out of the box.

I've had some people ask me what to do if there is no Dianetics group or Scientology church near where they live.  The fortunate thing is that today most people in the world can take advantage of Dianetics by using the Internet.  You can go to
https://www.dianetics.org/html/en_US/feature/contact/communicate.html and ask for help finding a Dianetics Auditor. 

For example I just checked Viet Nam.  There doesn't appear to be a Dianetics center in Viet Nam, but the Dianetics book is published in Viet Namese and chances are there are people who have purchased the book and also want help.

There is someone on call at www.dianetics.org who will help you find an auditor.  In some cases it will be another person new to Scientology and Dianetics and you will get help in learning how to audit (applyDianetics to one another).  You can use the hotline if you run into anything you can't figure out.  In no time at all you will be a competent Dianetics auditor, able to help others improve their lives and overcome the things that plague them in life.

I have a new friend in Pakistan who is starting a Dianetics group this way.  He has read the Diaentics book and has the Dianetics DVD and he and his friends are just diving in, getting help when they need it from the Dianetics hotline.
